2010 Qualifying Videos

This 4 minute insert consisted of footage of all 32 countries that had qualified for the 2010 FIFA World Cup event.

The opening sequence of the video consists of an aerial view of planet earth. We fly into the atmosphere and continue the fly over along the landscape until we approach a rock wall. The entire fly over sequence was created in 3D animation, complete with realistic textures.

Once on the rock wall live action footage of each countries qualifying goal was freeze framed, rotoscoped and enhanced with design elements, all the while carrying through the rock art texture famous in Southern Africa.

Ministry of Illusion was once again involved throughout the entire process, from conceptualization through to delivery. Interestingly, the rock texture treatment created by MOI will be used throughout the entire draw.
